It's overwhelming to me to look back and realize that in just one short year my little dream of a business grew as much as it did. This time last year I had only 2 wonderful, and ever so encouraging, clients who made me believe that my work was great. Just this morning while doing some bookeeping, I counted 42 files! Not including my commercial work. These clients are not single session clients either, they are faithful and really love the images I am able to capture for them. They are proud to have some huge prints/canvases of their images displayed throughout their homes. And, so am I! I also have clients who I have photographed 3 times already this past year... in the short time I have been in business, that is HUGE. Needless to say, I am over the moon about the growth of my photography business. I have done shoots in Virginia (thanks Shan!), as well as in my home country (Brazil), and plan on traveling even more in the future. It is a little hard right now with my daugher, Bela, being so young, but with the help of my supporting husband... there is nothing holding me back. I just LOVE what I do and I am so blessed and lucky to be able to call this my work.
Every now and then I receive e-mails from other photographers and they are so sweet! Thank you! I am no expert, I never went to school to study photography, and I was never graded/criticized by any teacher on my art. All I know I learned by reading, networking and practicing. But still, I do LOVE to help anyone who asks me. I hide nothing! There is no secret in what I do. My talent can't be stolen from me... unless you are Sylar. LOL So if you like my work and want to ask me a question, please do! I promise you I will answer to the best of my knowledge. :)
