First shoot in Brazil!

  This was so much fun! Gladly the weather cooperated with us and gave us a few hours of sun! What an amazing location...well, there aren´t many "bad" locations around here...this island is so beautiful! Miss "k" is gorgeous, isn´t she? Her skin color and her eyes are absolutely stunning! :) This was my debut as a photographer here in Brazil. Most people are used to me as model, so when I say I am doing photos, they normally ask " oh! that´s great that you are modeling again!" lol... No way! lol

Beary Basics Spring 2008

Before my trip... I again had the pleasure of photographing for Beary Basics. This time their beautiful Spring 2008 collection. It was a little rushed since I was leaving the country the very next day, but I am very happy with the reults. My baby girl looked so cute wearing their super cute outfits. I just love them all... She owns some of them and looks gorgeous in them. Super stylish in Brazil! They are so comfy and the colors are a perfect match with her skin. Thanks Stephanie...we love them!

ps.: I am writting using my dad´s computer since my laptop broke during my trip here. I feel so lost! But I just realized how different my photos look through his monitor... Much darker... yuck! Glad I broght with me an album with some real samples of how the prints turn out. Man...I miss my computer!

Last days

Sorry I have been away from here for so long! I am supposed to leave in the AM on tuesday but barely have things done. I have to finish packing, shopping, cleaning, organizing... and still find some time to rest because I know I will now be able to on the trip at all. :(

Well... Next time I post it'll probably be from Brazil. :) Can't wait... my family will finally be able to meet my princess!

Black and White

I have never been a big fan of black and white photos... until now! I love colors... bright, soft, retro... I just like seeing the (many) variation of tones I can get out of each color. But while finishig up my little sister-in-law's photos I just fell in love with her black and white images...

Tell you the truth, I love them all! She was such an easy model to photograph, not to mention absolutely gorgeous. I went through her images and seriously had no idea which to edit because they were all great. She seriously needs to think about modeling!Tyra Banks would have a very strong contestant at her America's next top model show.

Beary Basics

This week I had the pleasure of photographing the fall 2007 collection for Beary Basics! It was such a great experience! I am so pleased with the results... The girls did so good, I couldn't be happier with my little models! Thank you Stephanie, it really was a blast!

As you can see in the photos below, Beary Basics clothing line is absolutely flawless. The amazing mix of fabrics in combination with their classic designs create the perfect attire for little girls of all ages. They are playful, fun and oh so pretty! I wish they were made in my size!! A couple more

I leave in less than 2 weeks to Brazil and have absolutely nothing ready! At all... I just don't know what to do! Not to mention I am still proofing and ordering and delivering orders! I just love what I do...what can I say! I seem to work better under pressure too, so I think I will be ok! I had to post these ones coz they are so sweet!!! :)

Also some of miss Cynthia...who rocked the house! She was fantastic doing these photos and I just love her images.

This last picture I was cracking up behind the lens. One lady came out of nowhere and started directing her...do this, do that...It was just hillarious. I actually liked the result!

Ok! That was way more than just a couple...but aren't they awesome?

Mahoneys

Still proofing...super exausted after 2 photoshoots today! The first one was for my dear friends Cynthia and Jon. I had a blast with you and can't believe you finally agreed to get some pictures done! Cynthia is the older sister I never had! Wish we lived closer so we could hang out more. I got to her house and was overwhelmed by the amount of clothes this girl has! Oh my... we spent hours trying to figure out what to take! I think we did a good job choosing though! I have many more photos to share...but right now I am getting in the shower and having a good dinner with my family. Be back to proof some more later on!
